RONALD TOCCHINI has served as a strategic advisor and advocate for several Fortune 500® companies and hundreds of emerging-growth ventures. His law practice includes immigration law, international trade, and other cross-border business transactions. He has represented domestic and international clients at multiple ports of entry across the United States, and at US diplomatic missions in different cities worldwide.
Since 1996, he has advised companies in various fields, including biotechnology, customs and freight forwarding, distribution agreements, export control compliance, franchising, hospitality, mining, robotics, and software licensing. Mr. Tocchini has extensive experience with E-1 trader and E-2 investor financing projects, as well as with L-1 intracompany transfers and TN visas for workers under the USMCA.
Ronald read law and economics at Brigham Young University, where he also served as managing editor of the BYU Journal of Law and Education. He is a licensed attorney in Arizona and California, and he has been admitted to practice before the US Court of International Trade in New York City and the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. He has also been licensed as a customs broker by the US Department of Homeland Security.
A native of San Francisco with a strong family history in immigrant business startups, Ronald makes his home today in Phoenix, where he spends his free time working as an unpaid manservant for two small boys.
